On January 9th, 2024, the famed hotel is unveiling its latest collaboration—a 1624-square-foot villa designed by Chairsh. Almost all of the furniture was sourced from within five miles of this renowned destination.

This collaboration was a natural fit for both brands, explains Sarah Wetenhall, President and Owner of The Colony Hotel. “Chairish has always held a special place among my preferred decorating resources. The vintage finds they offer align perfectly with the Palm Beach aesthetic. Not only have they been a reliable go-to for furnishing my personal design projects, but it has also served as a source of inspiration during the evolution of décor at The Colony.”

The great estates of Palm Beach inspired this collection which features classic stylings such as Chinoiserie with faux bamboo, Chinese Chippendale silhouettes, tropical Animalia, and natural fiber furniture, among other highlights.

Best of all, it’s shoppable with a selection of one-of-a-kind, limited edition, and newly made items available on Chairish.

According to Wetenhall this two-bedroom, two-bathroom residence is the epitome of sunshine. “It blends historically relevant Palm Beach design themes with contemporary elements, including modern art, mid-century furnishings, and sophisticated layering. The villa’s history intertwines with that of the hotel, forming a rich tapestry of decades filled with good taste, entertaining, and glamorous tropical living,” she says.

It truly represents all things Palm Beach. “Chairish has thoughtfully infused odes to Palm Beach design and the island itself throughout every corner of the villa: from tropical animals in the lighting and accessories to classic Schumacher Hospitality fabrics and wallpapers, and the presence of wicker, rattan, and faux bamboo. This residence is a blend of classic and whimsical, seamlessly complementing our other redesigned residences,” explains Wetenhall.

From the furniture to the art and beyond—there are so many unique elements of the space. “You’ll find original art pieces from Liz Marsh, Ron Giusti, Virginia Chamlee, among others,” says Anna Brockway, Co-Founder and President of Chairish.

One of Brockway’s favorite elements of the villa is the Blue and White Floral Porcelain Pay Phone Sculpture by Brock DeBoer. “It’s so fun,” she says.

Another one of her picks is the whimsical Del Tesoro wallpaper from Schumacher Hospitality, which has been used throughout the space.

If You Can’t Live At The Colony, Make The Colony Where You Live

The curated online shop features rare and one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by the villa. There’s a myriad of items available, from art to furniture, decor, lighting, and outdoor options. Chairish’s merchandising team will continuously replenish the shop as items are sold, allowing you to keep checking back for all the fabulous finds.

With more than 200 items, there is so much to choose from. One of the most beautiful is the Casa Cosima Emma Nightstand. These nightstands are a fabulous addition to any traditional bedroom. Choose from bold combinations such as Royal and Sky Blue, Pink and Terracotta, along with neutrals including White and Light Gray.

With a similar aesthetic to the beds in the room, the Kit Queen Linen Bed Frame is available in several colors including the cheerful Apple, Mustard, and dreamy Sky Blue.

The Willa Speckled Tumblers might look vintage, but they are brand new. If you can’t enjoy a poolside cocktail at The Colony, these are the next best thing. This also makes a thoughtful gift.

With lots of vintage pieces in the collection, it’s hard not to notice how the Vintage Palm Beach Regency Plaster Whimsical Camel Shaped Table Lamp Scalloped Shade stands out. What a charming addition to a nightstand or side table.
